Matthew 24 The Spine of Biblical Prophecy

Companion Chapters in the Synopsis: Mark 13 and Luke 21

Prelude: We need the Words of prophecy and to heed them.

2 Peter 1:19 “We also have a more sure word of prophecy, to which you do well to take heed, as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the Daystar arises in your hearts, Peter calls biblical prophecy a light in a dark place. We need the prophetic word – it is not just a nice subject to discuss.

This Scripture is followed by a warning.

2Peter 1:20-21 “knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture came into being of its own private interpretation.

21  For prophecy was not borne at any time by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke being borne along by the Holy Spirit.

2Peter 2:1  But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who secretly will bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.”

We are told in Scripture that God will hold us accountable for how we respond to the prophetic word.

The Greatest Hebrew Prophet:

a. The Promise

Deut 18:15  “The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own brothers. You must listen to him.” NIV

b.  Deut 18:18-19 The Command

“I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.” NIV

          c. The fulfillment: referring to Himself:

Mark 6:4  But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor, except in his native-place, and among his own kin, and in his own house.

Luke 13:33  Yet I must walk today and tomorrow and the day following. For it cannot be that a prophet perish outside of Jerusalem.

Matthew 24 is the Spine of Biblical Prophecy. When scientists attempt to reconstruct the skeletal structures of men or of animals, they begin by identifying the spine. Then placement of the other bones falls into place. Once Matthew 24 is understood, then main bone structures of Daniel, Ezekiel, Zechariah and Revelation may be more clearly understood.

Exposition

Matt 24:1-51

24:1 “Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. The Temple was the greatest source of Hebrew pride. It was the center of their faith, their culture and that which signified Israel as God’s covenant people.

2 "Do you see all these things?" he asked. "I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."

The Apostles were stunned at this statement. They thought that the Temple would only be destroyed at the end of the age. This prompts them to ask Jesus three questions. At this point Luke 21 differs from Matthew 24 in that the disciples are recorded as asking Jesus one question regarding the destruction of the Temple (Luke 21:7)

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, (1)"when will this happen (Destruction of the Temple), and (2)what will be the sign of your coming and (3)of the end of the age?"

4 Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. Jesus begins His great Mount Olivet Discourse with a warning against false prophets and false teachers.

6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Only in the 20th Century have we witnessed War on a world-wide basis

Technological constraints made such wars impossible in past centuries. World War 1 may be regarded as the beginning of such wars. The word for “nation” in Greek is “ethnos” from which we get our word “ethnic”.

Never have we seen so many ethnic conflicts as we have in the last 40 years, intensifying in the recent breakup of the former Soviet Union and in Yugoslavia.

There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

There have always been famines and earthquakes, however the frequency and intensity of both have been profoundly increased in the 20th Century.

8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. Jesus compares these to birth pains. What is being born? The Kingdom of God and the Messianic reign of Jesus Christ over Israel and all of the nations.

9 "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.

This is already in progress from the ridicule of Hollywood to the killing fields of Sudan, Afghanistan, China and Indonesia where 160,000 Christians are martyred every year for their faith in Jesus.

10 At that time many will turn away from the faith (apostasy 1Tim 4:1 and 2Thess 2:3)  and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

Today basically the false prophet is one with a lying message – the beginning of a cult. Since 1950 there have been the emergence of over 10,000 cults; an unprecedented number in such a short time.

12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,                      This love is Christian love – agape.

13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

We are called to endure to the end. Although Calvinists will use some teachings (in regard to the Gospel of the Kingdom / Gospel of Grace) to get around this verse, standing for Jesus faithfully produced the blood of the martyrs in the early Apostolic church and continues to do so today. Here is the choice:

1.     Ps 116:15” Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.”

2.     Matt 10:33 “But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” KJV

3.     In Luke it is expressed in this way: Luke 21:19 “By your patience possess your souls. NKJV

I. THE SIGN of Jesus’ Return:

Matt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Rev 7:4  And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Rev 7:4-17 Many of these are martyred and have washed their robes in the Blood of the Lamb coming out of the Great Tribulation. These will preach the Gospel of the kingdom along with the two witnesses. (Rev 17:3)

Now Jesus begins to speak to the Apostles as Jews.

15 "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel-let the reader understand-

The abomination that makes desolate is prophesied in Daniel 12:11. This was fulfilled once when a Greek King, Antiochus Epiphanes of Syria, slaughtered a pig in the Holy of Holies offering the pig to the god Zeus.

That is why the listeners of the early church needed no explanation of this term. To have another such abomination of desolation requires the restoration of the Jewish Temple (which will happen regardless of the Muslim Mosque of Omar, which today sits on the Temple Mount (in the court of the gentiles in what was formerly the temple area of Herod’s Temple).

16 "then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak. 19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath."

There is no Sabbath restrictions for Christians. (Colossians 2:16)

21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now-and never to be equaled again. 22 If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

The Tribulation referred to as “Jacob’s Trouble” (Jewish in nature)  and the return of the Jews to their homeland in the end of the age.

Jer 30:3-7 "For behold, the days are coming,’ says the LORD, ‘that I will bring back from captivity My people Israel and Judah,’ says the LORD. ‘And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.’"
4 Now these are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and Judah.
5 "For thus says the LORD: ‘We have heard a voice of trembling, Of fear, and not of peace.
6 Ask now, and see, Whether a man is ever in labor with child? So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins Like a woman in labor, And all faces turned pale?
7 Alas! For that day is great, So that none is like it; And it is the time of Jacob’s trouble, But he shall be saved out of it."

23 At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect-if that were possible. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.

26 "So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it.

III 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather. (NIV shows vultures. KJV and NKJV states “eagles”. Both eagles and vultures were classed together in Israel since both are carrions. However these birds are not the same Note 1

II. The sign of the destruction of the Temple – 70AD

See  also Luke 17:37   And they answered and said to Him, Where, Lord? And He said to them, Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together. This was literally fulfilled in 70AD Once the Romans had Jerusalem surrounded, they halted due to political reasons. Christian Jews remembered Jesus’ Words here – The standards of the Roman Army read “SPQR” and underneath were the symbols of eagles. These Jewish Christians fled and incurred the hatred of other Jews by fleeing Jerusalem even under the command of Jesus. After the Romans sacked Jerusalem, destroyed the Temple, literally fulfilled,  leaving not one stone upon another, 2 million Jews were killed and 1 million were sold into slavery.

29 "Immediately after the distress of those days "'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'

30 "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

32 "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.

Luke 21:29-31

29 "Then He spoke to them a parable: "Look at the fig tree, and all the trees.
30 "When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near.
31 "So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.

The fig tree began putting on its leaves with the partition of Palestine May 15, 1948. More critical to this event was the capture of the old city of Jerusalem in 1967 in the “six day war”. Jerusalem had not been in Jewish hands since 70 AD.

Matt 24:34-35

34 "Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.
35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
Matt 24:36-40
"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.  For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left."

42 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of.

51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Note 2 This is not the rapture. The rapture was a mystery later revealed through Paul.

1Cor 15:51 “Behold, I speak a mystery to you; we shall not all fall asleep, but we shall all be changed;”

The Scriptures Matt 24:38-42 “For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. (Population Explosion –H.O.) That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.”  NIV

At the sign of Jesus’ coming, those who remain on earth are those elect who will go into the Millennial reign.

John 15:6  If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered. And they gather and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Matt 13:40-44

"As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

Note the order after Jesus comes in glory & power: gather out the tares and burn them. That which remains is wheat that will go into Jesus’ Millennial reign.

FOOTNOTES

1.     Regarding eagles and vultures Matt 24:8 and Luke 17:37  a. . The Lammergeyer,  which is rare everywhere, and only found in desolate mountain regions, where it rears its young in the depth of winter among inaccessible precipices. It is looked upon by the Arabs as an eagle rather than a vulture.

  2. The Griffon   noted for its power of vision and the great height at which it soars. Aristotle (Anim. Hist. vi. 5) notices the manner in which the griffon scents its prey from afar, and congregates in the wake of an army. The same singular instinct was remarked in the Russian War, when vast numbers of this vulture were collected in the Crimea, and remained till the end of the campaign in the neighborhood of the camp, although previously they had been scarcely known in the country. "Wheresoever the carcass is there will the eagles be gathered together" (Mt 24:28); "Where the slain are, there is she" (Job 39:30). The writer observed this bird universally distributed in all the mountainous and rocky districts of Palestine, and especially abundant in the southeast. Its favorite breeding-places are between Jerusalem and Jericho and all round the Dead Sea.

Matthew 25 Judgment of the Nations

THE JUDGMENT OF ISRAEL – These two parables describe the judgment of Israel, not individual Jews. Israel: Not numbered among the nations

Numbers 23:9

Matthew 25 begins with the parable of the five wise bridesmaids (Matt 25:1-12) and the parable of the talents (Matt 25:14-30).

Matt 25:13

"Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.” NKJV

Matt 25:31-46

31 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

37 "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

40 "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

Jesus is not judging individuals in this chapter. If He was, salvation would depend upon works, not by grace through faith. As the Messiah, the King of Israel, He is judging the gentile nations as it was prophesied in

Psalm  2:6-9 The Everlasting King of Israel Who Will Judge the Nations

6 "Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion."
7 "I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.
8 Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel."

The Brethren of the King of Israel according to the flesh:

Mic 5:2-4

"But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting."

Therefore He shall give them up, Until the time that she who is in labor has given birth; (Micah 5:3) Then the remnant of His brethren Shall return to the children of Israel. And He shall stand and feed His flock.” NKJV

In the great Messianic Psalm 22 that tells us of the sufferings of Jesus on the cross, the Psalm also contains prophetically the heart of Jesus as He quietly prayed in the cross: Ps 22:22 I will declare Your name to My brethren;

In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.”  NKJV

41 "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 ‘for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;
43 ‘I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
44 "Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’
45 "Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’
46 "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

The first view that I want to provide to you: As Christians, God does not want us to show partiality in whom we embrace as brothers in our Christian fellowship. God will see to it in every church that bears His Name that their will be “the least of the brethren” according to worldly views. How we treat them will not cause us to lose our salvation as this Judgment of the Nations depicts, however you will grieve if you haven’t embraced the least of our brethren.

Paul shows us that there are three groups of people in the world:

1COR 10:32 – the Jew, the Gentile and the Church of God.

Paul also shows us a priority in God’s plan in dealing with the first two groups:

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”KJV

In judgment, the Jews are judged first in what is called “Jacob’s Trouble” Jer 30:4-7, Daniel 12:1.

When Jesus returns, He will judge the gentile nations. Exegetically Matthew 25 deals with the judgment of the nations by Jesus using the criterion of how these gentile nations treated His brethren in the flesh, the Jews.

Some Bible teachers teach that Matthew 25 is the final last general judgment referred to as the White Throne judgment.

The comparison of judgments to show that Matthew 25 is a pre-millennial judgment different than the last judgment:

Matthew 25 Judgment of the Nations Matt 25:31-46 Great White Throne Judgment Rev 20:11-15
No resurrection Resurrection
Living Nations judged The Dead are judged
On earth Joel 3:2 Heaven & earth gone
No Books mentioned Books are opened
Three groups: sheep, goats and Brethren Only one group mentioned: the Dead
Time: before the Millenium After the Millennium
Place: Valley of Jehoshaphat Before the White Throne, not on earth or in heaven- no place in present creation is sited.

The “brethren” are Jews who are not counted among the nations (Numbers 23:9). The Church of Jesus’ saints are not judged in Matthew 25. The Church will assist Jesus in judging the world (1Cor 6:2)

It would be a wise thing for the saints to treat Jewish people with deference keeping in mind the Scriptures:

Romans 11

11:1 I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.

Rom 11:11 "Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.

Rom 11:17-20

17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree,
18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.
19 You will say then, "Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in."
20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear.
21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.
22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins."

WHO MURDERED JESUS?

As I grew up in the Roman Catholic Church I was taught that the Jews were Christ-killers and were cursed. Following a speech that Martin Luther made only days before his death, Luther also stated that the Jews are cursed because they are Christ-killers. Catholics and Protestants agreeing together on a very wrong point of view.

For 2000 years the Jews have been persecuted as they were dispersed in 70AD (2 million dead, 1 million sold into slavery by Rome).

It is written regarding the people’s response to Pilate about Jesus:

There are three scriptures we need to review:

a.     Matthew 27:25  “Then all the people answered and said, Let His blood be on us and on our children.” For 2000 years the Jews have suffered persecutions at the hand of gentiles. However,

b.     Romans 11:25-26 “I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, …”NIV God is not through with the Jews. There is no Scriptural authority for gentiles to curse or to persecute Jews.

c.     John 4:22 “ You worship what you do not know, we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.” MKJV

Without the Jews we would have

No Scriptures except Daniel 4, Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts

     No Prophets, Apostles, or Gospel

No Lord & Saviour, the Jewish Messiah who is “a light unto the Gentiles”… Isaiah 42:6, Isaiah 49:6, John 8:12, John 12:46

We owe a great depth to the Jews and are wise if we pray for them. You have in your handout a public statement that I have made against Anti-Semitism. For that page I was cited by one group as one of the Friends of Israel.

There are hate groups today that want the Jews exterminated. In order to make in roads with people, these groups will offer some truths mixed with lies. The result of this is a LIE!

Some true statements made regarding the Jews:

1.     Jews are some of the wealthiest bankers in the world especially the families of Rothschild and Warburg. Max Warburg, a Jew, was the Finance Minister under Adolph Hitler. His brother, Paul, was the first Chairman of the American Federal Reserve (the American Central Bank).

2.     There were a large number of Jews involved in the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. There were three main figures in that revolution who operated under pseudonyms:

q Stalin

q Lenin

q Trotsky real name: Lyova Davidovich Bronstein

Trotsky, in the Spring of 1917, was selling copies of the Communist Daily Worker in the streets of New York while he stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. In the fall of 1917 Trotsky was stopped and taken off of a ship destined for St. Petersburg. Arrested with him were 240 Jews and 5 million in gold. The Canadian authorities released Trotsky and his comrades with the gold after receiving a visit by two members of the US State Department.

Lenin was given 20 million in gold and placed in a boxcar to be transported from Switzerland to Russia by Max Warburg. The reason given was that Germany wanted to destabilize one of it’s allied enemies by undermining Russia with revolution.

3.     Jews have led left wing political movements in the US (Emma Goldman founded the US Communist Party). Bernadine Dohrn and Bill Ayers led the Weather Underground in the early ‘70s. Both of them are Jewish.

4.     In Palestine, before May 15, 1948 Jewish terrorists were guilty

of murdering innocent people along with British troops.

5. Jews formed the Mafia in New York

What are not mentioned by these hate groups are some corollary truths:

 1.     The Rothschild and Warburg families became the bankers of Europe because they offered loans at lower interest rates than their gentile competitors. The families of Rockefeller and J.P. Morgan were / are no more patriotic or noble than the Rothschilds and Warburgs.

These two families did not even agree regarding the future of Jews. The Rothschilds favor monarchy and wanted Palestine partitioned as a Jewish state. The Balfour Declaration, a document committing England to support such a partition, is not a government charter in England but rather a letter from Prime Minister Balfour to lord Rothschild of the British House of Lords. The Warburgs wanted international revolutions such as the Bolshevik revolution on a global scale. The Warburgs opposed a state of Israel being created.

2.     Trotsky certainly was Jewish as were 80% of the Bolshevik government. However, Stalin (Ioseph Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili) and Lenin (Vladimir Ilych Ulyanov) were gentiles. In 1936 Stalin held his infamous show trials in which he had put to death every prominent Jew in the government. Although Trotsky escaped to Mexico, he later suffered death by an axe wound to the head in Mexico City, 1940.

Regarding the participation of Reformed Jews in communist revolts, Orthdox Jewish rabbis warned their “reformed” brethren that participation with gentiles in such activities will bring persecution on all Jews - 1830. Rabbi Marvin Antelmann wrote a book entitled To Eliminate the Opiate, a sarcastic reference to Karl Marx’ statement in the Communist Manifesto that religion is the opiate of the masses. In this work he shows gentile and Reformed Jewish participation in the Bolshevik Revolution. There were many freemasons involved in this revolution also, however they are never mentioned.

3.     Many members of the US Communist Party were gentiles. One prominent gentile who supported Stalin, Roger Baldwin, was a student of Emma Goldman. He refused to listen to her when she returned to the US in 1925 and denounced Stalin’s government as an oppressive dictatorship. Roger Baldwin founded the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

Regarding the New Left Movement, Tom Hayden and Rennie Davis were prominent leaders along with Dohrn and Ayers. Both Hayden and Davis are gentiles.

4.     The freedom fighters in Palestine were predominantly from a group called the Haganah. These were not terrorists. They later became the nucleus of the Israeli Defense Force which was left by Britain in 1948 with only smuggled weapons to fight against Arabs who outnumbered the Jews and had access to all of the weapons they needed. Some smaller Jewish groups were guilty of committing acts of terrorism such as the Ergun (Manachem Begin) and the Stern Gang (Yitshach Shamir).

5.     The Mafia was reorganized into 24 “families” forming a confederation directed from the five families in New York under Charles “Lucky” Luciano and Vito Genovese. The only Jewish participation were three men: Meyer Lansky (opened gambling in Havana and was brilliant in Financial Management), Benjamin “Bugsy” Seigel, who founded and built Las Vegas. Seigel was a professional killer as was the third Jew, Louis Bukhalter, aka Louis Lepke. With only 3 prominent Jews in organized crime compared to the many gentiles, the picture is inaccurate if painted with an anti-semitic brush.

The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Sion

This is a document allegedly found by a Russian Monk named Nihilus. In this book it shows a small group of wealthy and powerful Jews who create three world wars, secure control over world banking, communications, entertainment and education. Since it accurately described conditions surrounding both World Wars, readers of this document believed in a global conspiracy of Jews to rule the world.

The founder of my company, Henry Ford I read the Protocols and became anti-Semitic in his views. The Ford family has since renounced such discriminatory views and behavior. This document has accelerated the persecution of Jews wherever it is read. It’s accuracy in predicting 20th century events is quite convincing. However the origin of this document was not Jewish. It can be traced back to a gentile named Maurice Joly, a member of the French cabinet in 1854 and also a 33rd Degree Mason.

I believe you need to be aware of this document and it’s origins so that hate groups cannot use it to induce you to hatred. The document is in a British museum today. However it is available free to anyone on the internet. In spite of the influence of this forgery, it is not even mentioned in history books that I have.

The answer to the question “Who murdered Jesus?” is that we all did with our sins.

Jesus became the sacrificial Lamb of God under His own control as our High Priest.(Hebrews 10:10-12). Jesus said John 10:17-18  “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I might take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down from Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. I have received this commandment from My Father.”

We are not rulers of nations, however there are two lessons we need to derive from Jesus’ prophetic words in Matt 25:

a.      Every sinner is responsible for the sufferings and death of our Lord Jesus. Instead of cursing or blaming any group, it would please the heart of our Father to praise Him greatly for Jesus’ sacrifice.

b.     We serve no one when truth is totally ignored and left into the hands of hate groups like the Aryan Nations or the Ku Klux Klan. How do we handle truth? John 8:32  “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

c.     Please do not accept anti-Jewish slander without getting all of the truth. Pray for the Jews that they will surrender their hearts to Yeshua (Jesus), and curse them not!

1 Cor 3:12-15

“Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.”
